As part of GE’s Brilliant Machines campaign, Sub Rosa worked with Rock Paper Robot and Hypersonic to develop and showcase the Barista Bot, a robot that photographed patron’s faces then etched their portrait onto their coffee latte foam with espresso concentrate.
From March 8th – 11th, 2013, the GE Brilliant Brew truck brought the advanced manufacturing spirit to the streets of Austin by setting up at four mobile locations as part of SXSW 2013. The campaign illustrated the potential of what is possible when technology and software come together to enhance a service. In this case – coffee making.
