Applied Empathy is a monthly conversation series held at Sub Rosa’s studio in Manhattan. Each discussion features individuals who incorporate empathic behaviors into their professional and personal lives. In conjunction with a Sub Rosa’s Founder/CEO Michael Ventura and the audience, they discuss a unique theme pertaining to empathy and their respective careers.
This month, Michael speaks with Claire Wasserman, Founder of Ladies Get Paid, an organization that helps women “rise up at work” through a series of town hall discussions, a podcast, and online community. Not yet a year old, Ladies Get Paid has over 4,000 members worldwide.
Michael and Claire are joined by Sascha Lewis, who is Co-founder and CEO of Flavorpill, a network of culturally connected people, covering events, art, books, music, and pop culture. Sascha is also Co-founder of Open Source Men’s Retreat, which provides opportunities for fostering connection, brotherhood, and growth.
Together, Michael, Claire, and Sascha explore the theme “Gender Blender: Empathy in the Age of Evolving Gender Roles.” We hope you enjoy.
