As design plays an increasingly important role in business, a new breed of entrepreneurs emerge: those who put design at the heart of their product and business strategy while coupling that with a desire to profoundly impact the world. These new businesses are taking on some of the biggest global challenges by providing human necessities – clothing, education, and nourishment – as an integral part of the products they develop.
With this in mind, Adobe partnered with FEED, a social business that takes a design-led approach to help end global hunger, to create the ‘Make It Challenge’. Three teams of art directors, copywriters, a photographer, and a producer bunkered down at Sub Rosa’s West Village office to develop and pitch a concept for the FEED holiday campaign.
Ultimately, a single team was selected to see their campaign concept through to fruition, with Sub Rosa CEO and Founder Michael Ventura’s expert creative guidance – all while cameras rolled and captured the creative journey. The Challenge is presented in seven consecutive episodes, watch each of them below.
After days of working through creative ups and downs and rights and lefts, the FEED holiday campaign was polished and complete – from pitch to production (an absolute rarity). Adobe and Sub Rosa are pleased to help advance FEED’s mission by working together. After all, as the African proverb eloquently states, ‘If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.’
"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together."
