Talent Manager

We currently seek a well-rounded Talent Manager to join and help grow our team. The Talent Manager is a cultural champion who is passionate about finding the right people and nurturing their growth within the agency. This role is deeply involved with Sub Rosa’s thought leadership around organizational design, business culture transformation, and employee management. This individual is one who we can depend on to be empathic and to possess an entrepreneurial spirit with a no task is too small mentality.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff planning and drive the full cycle recruitment process, with experience in recruiting Strategists, Creatives, and/or Producers
  • Build relationships and work with hiring managers to execute hiring and retention plans
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the Management team in the areas of performance management and sensitive employee relations issues
  • Coach and mentor department heads on various training and career development topics
  • Administer payroll and employee benefits
  • Coordinate with immigration lawyer to timely process work visas
  • Maintain and periodically update official company-wide policies and handbook
  • Work on learning curriculum and deliver sessions either personally or with a facilitator
  • Oversee People & Operations Associate

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Working knowledge of federal, state and local employment and labor laws
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Motivated self starter with a can-do attitude
  • Outstanding time management and multitasking skills
  • Technically savvy and proficient with Mac OS and Microsoft office
  • Personable, professional and trustworthy
